Internet Radio Streaming
Greenstream.co.nz is highly flexible, and we will work to design a streaming plan that works for you. We aim to provide a high quality service for a reasonable price.
Here's how we do it:
- We identify exactly what your needs are: how many people are going to be listening, what quality of audio you want, and what your budget is.
- For a once-off set up fee we:
• Can pre-configure a computer to process your stream and courier this to you,
• Establish your stream on our servers,
• Create a media player for your website (see below if you don’t have a website),
• Get the stream live on the Internet. - When the computer arrives you plug in an audio feed from your existing set up, and plug in an Internet cable.
- Once the computer is turned on it will convert the audio feed into a format that is easy to transmit over the Internet and retains a high level of audio quality.
- This is sent via the Internet to our servers.
- When people visit your website all they have to do is click ‘Play’ to connect to the stream and listen live!
This system is highly stable and does not rely on your audience knowing how to listen to streams through a 3rd party media player – it really is just click-and-play!
There is a once off set up fee whichcan include a pre-configured computer with all software licenses.

Support
Once you are set up and streaming, if you ever do have problems we provide excellent follow up support. We will prioritise your support request, and if it's urgent (and let's face it, they normally are), we'll work to resolve it immediately.
Web Design
If you don't yet have a website but think you might need one, you probably do! We've had plenty of experience designing websites, and will have no problem giving you a great website to take your radio station stream to an audience who wants to listen to what you are playing.
